Based in Bordeaux, Clarac-Deloeuil > le lab is a creative arts company exploring all variations of performing classical music on stage. In the form of a co-operation between stage-directors Jean-Philippe Clarac and Olivier Deloeuil, light-designers Rick Martin and Christophe Pitoiset, videographers Pascal Boudet and Timothée Buisson, graphic-designer Julien Roques and dramatic advisor Luc Bourrousse, this team is exploring the world of multidisciplinary productions under the joint motto:

Opera, musical-theatre and concert as a tool for checking out what is topical at present. The creative work by Clarac-Deloeuil > le lab is never interested in the chosen piece only, but also in the political and social settings of the performance.

The company has already collaborated with notable European institutions such as La Monnaie-De Munt Brussels, Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Fundaçao Gulbenkian Lisbon, Casa da Musica Porto, ABAO Bilbao, Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte di Montepulciano, Staatstheater Nurnberg, Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Theater Freiburg, Opéra Comique Paris, Philharmonie de Paris, Opéra National du Rhin, Opéra National de Bordeaux, Opéra National de Montpellier, Opéra de Limoges, Opéra de Rouen Normandie, Musica Festival Strasbourg.

In June 2018, Clarac-Deloeuil > le lab was awarded "Best creation of scenic elements“ by the French Association Professionnelle de la Critque de Théâtre, Musique et Danse for their productions of Peer GyntSchubert Box as well as Butterfly at the Opéra de Limoges.
