ABOUT
Inspired by the experiments regularly carried out with clowns in prisons and in hospitals, this new production invites the audience to a somewhat special experience, around the notions of Reality, Fiction, and the very ambiguous relationships between the two. In a special Unit for Difficult Patients, in a forensic psychiatric center, we play a strange role-playing game… Indeed, what is “real” on an opera stage? A question already at the heart of Verismo operas, at the end of the 19th century, which we propose to revisit, in the light of our modernity.
