An intriguing art installation invites you for a short pause. Just seat down. And listen. Listen to the wind blowing, to the kids playing around you. Listen to the dialogue between a young girl full of hope and a somehow hopeless salesman.
SQUARE(S) is an artistic rendition of the well-known bench, to be found in any public square. When seated into it, one can listen to the mesmerizing dialogue written by Marguerite Duras for her iconic play Le Square : seated in a public square, a young baby-sitter and an old salesman discuss peacefully. Between the two of them, the archetypal Durasian unrequited love story. An impossible love story that they share with the visitors, as if seated next to them on the bench. An engaging poetic dialogue, between fiction and reality.
